Membership fees
Paying for Scouts is a little different to some other extra-curricular activities. We charge on a membership basis, not per session.
How much is membership? Our membership fees are £20 per month.
How are fees collected? Membership fees should be paid monthly by bank transfer. Bank transfer details will be made available when needed.
Do you accept cash? We no longer routinely accept cash payments. If bank transfer is difficult or you need to discuss payment options, please speak to our Treasurer, Luke Hickson.
When are payments due? Membership fees are usually due on the 1st of each month.
When is my first payment due? Payment will usually start from the following month after you have joined our group.
What notice is required to end my membership? When you notify us by email, your membership will stop at the end of that month.
How many sessions are included with membership? We aim to deliver regular weekly sessions across the year during term time.
Are there any extra costs? Members are expected to have a uniform jumper to sew their badges onto. Additional activities such as camps, trips or adventurous activities may be charged separately, but we always try to keep costs as low as possible. Participation in these extras is optional.
Payment reference: Whenever making any form of payment to our group, please use this format:
[CHILD NAME] – [PURPOSE]
For example: Joseph – MEMBERSHIP
